skylee Posted October 30, 2011 at 03:00 PM Author Report Posted October 30, 2011 at 03:00 PM I watched this film yesterday. While it is an enjoyable film, I don't really get what the rave is about. Sure the actors are young and energetic and good looking and the story is fun. But I don't think there is much originality / drama / excitement there. What I think is that the film reminds people of their own youth, a kind of nostalgia, and somehow people need it now. I shared my view with a girl in her twenties today. She absolutely loved the film and was thinking about seeing it a second time in the cinema. This I think is the highest form of admiration from someone who usually enjoys seeing films on the internet free of charge. Quote
creamyhorror Posted October 30, 2011 at 03:37 PM Report Posted October 30, 2011 at 03:37 PM Saw a poster for this film here in Singapore. Looked like a teenage coming-of-age story. Taiwan has nice country/small-town scenery, which strikes me as an advantage over Hongkong's cityscape for such flicks. If the reviews come out positive I may get a group together to see it. Quote
