Please help translate 5 simple sentences

Could you please translate the following sentences?

可是遇到问题很冷静

让被批评的人不觉得难受,而且能感觉到是在帮助他

例如批评人的时候要考虑用正确的方法

而关键是要清楚我们的主要目的,找到重点

然而更多时候,留下的还是甜甜的回忆

Thanks in advance

Simple? well I don't really understand the first and last ones, but here is my take on the 3 other sentences:

Make it so that the person being criticized does not find it unbearable, and furthermore allow them to perceive that you are helping them.

For instance when you criticize someone, you must take care to do it the right way.

And the crucial issue is to understand clearly what our main goal is, find the important points.

Really sorry, Edelweiss. I did not mean to spoil the mock test. Next time, I'll make a warning.

The problem I face is that I do not have any textbook aimed at specifically preparing the HSK 4 test, so I've decided to "waste" some mock tests and use them to gather sentences exactly suited to this level.

Unfortunately, there is a mismatch between the elementary textbooks I know and HSK 4. Textbooks use a lot of vocabulary not covered in HSK 4, but at the same time do not include many words used in HSK 4

What piece of advice would you give me to prepare the HSK 4? Any specific material?

À bientòt

@ Danny2312

Thanks a lot. However, the sentences come from an official exam from Hanban, so they should be well written, shouldn't they?

@chinopinyin: I am facing the same issue i.e. not textbook to prepare specifically for HSK4.

However, in those sentences (well, except the 1st and last one), the difficult part for me was some unknown words (I am currently learning the vocabulary for HSK4), but the structure of the sentences seemed straightforward enough. Perhaps that is due to the fact that I read daily from material which is above my level? Also I look up sentences (from yellowbridge and jukuu) for each word that I learn, and often the grammar is also new to me, but the English translation helps getting used to the way the Chinese make sentences.

I thing the listening will be tough though. It is really difficult to find appropriate audio material. I'm currently thinking about the best way to use those audio-with-transcript resources (slow chinese, chinese stories platform, popup chinese, chinesepod, University of Iowa, clavis sinica, and cslpod). It should be possible (from the transcripts) to find out which audio files contains a given HSK4 word (grep and/or google with site: keyword) and then select the easiest one based on the site's level classification, and listen to it the same way I am currently reading those "above-my-level" materials i.e. don't try to understand everything, just try to recognize known vocabulary and get the gist of the meaning. Well that's the idea. I'm just trying it out right now...

(probably getting a tutor would be easier huh. Or if you have a confucius institute close by, join an HSK4 prep class...)

I am not too sure about the writing part i.e. what is the expected level of complexity for the sentence structure, do they only expect us to write from memory the HSK3 vocabulary or do we need to learn to write the full HSK4 vocabulary? (I don't think the computerized test will be available here by next year.)

Edelweiss,

I've used audio-with-transcript resources to mine sentences containing a given HSK4 word, but the problem is that fairly often those sentences also contain HSK 5 or HSK6 words

Learning isolated HSK 4 sentences is much more interesting than just learning isolated words, but it would be much better to have progressive HSK 4 texts.

I am surprised that there is no offer of new HSK material, except for simulated tests. This has to be a good business, so it may be just a question of time that somebody publishes them
