I hope you can help me translating the following phrase into English:

一张相片都没传 竟有我这么多的我

Since I'm still an absolute newbie at Mandarin, I have the same problem with this sentence that I face with so many others. I know the single words but I can not make out the complete meaning of the sentence.

First of all, it is not taken from a special context... it stands on its own.

If I would have to take a wild guess, I'd say it means something like "A picture/photo does not show entirely what I really am." (or: "A photo does not show as much of me as I am.")

Of course I'm pretty sure that I'm entirely wrong.

This doesn't look like a particularly useful "sentence" for a newbie to be trying to learn. For one, it lacks a lot of context, and it's also unpunctuated and may even be ungrammatical. It looks like a line from a song.

You can try to force an interpretation, but I would classify this sort of sentence as "noise" for a language learner.

It is actually a Facebook status message from my best friend (she's Chinese). I would ask her what it means, but we had some trouble and I'm afraid this message is related to me.

I was expecting a reply like that (missing content, hard to understand) - but still, is there a chance to filter out a basic idea or at least some clue out of this "mess"?

Consider - Never sent (transmitted/posted) a photo yet I am (can be seen) in so many places (e.g on facebook, in the photos that other people posted, etc).
