39degN Posted January 14, 2005 at 06:38 AM Author Report Posted January 14, 2005 at 06:38 AM seems lifting of the ban goes mission impossible! haha, you see, now days the government acknowledged the importance of the internet, so many quick decisions are actually made under the enormous public opinion pressure from the internet. Outofin Posted January 19, 2005 at 07:56 PM Report Posted January 19, 2005 at 07:56 PM I don't think we should lift the ban. Don't worry too much about the money we pay the casinos outside the border. You can think of it as a import, a service we recieve. The better part than import is that we pay RMB rather than US dollors. Let neighbors have some RMB. It is good at the stage. In long run, we probably will need a Vegas in 20 year or so. Quote
