大肚男 Posted December 6, 2011 at 04:15 AM Report Share Posted December 6, 2011 at 04:15 AM Dear all, I have been studying Chinese for a while, and one of my best tools is Skype, as I use it for text based language exchange with native Chinese while I'm at work. However, due to the time difference, voice chat is almost impossible, either I am at work when they're home or vice versa. And when the timing actually works out, it ends up being weird, with me speaking Chinese while the other speaking English, not to mention the connection problem that are always popping in. So, if anybody is interested, we can create a conversation group of learners of Chinese in the U.S., please let me know. While this may not be ideal, as compared to speaking with a native, I believe that this would be beneficial and conducive to learning how to speak, especially if both parties are of similar level. I am almost always on Skype, and my ID is eddieismail82 For what it is worth, while I think that most members are English speakers. Even if it is not the case, I can also speak Arabic and Spanish.
