"hasty generalization" in Chinese please.

Hasty generalization:

When humans are alive, they are soft.

When humans are dead, they are hard.

Therefore, that which is hard is dead. That which is soft is alive.

"When he is born, man is soft and weak; in death he becomes stiff and hard. The ten thousand creatures and all plants and trees while they are alive are supple and soft, but when dead they become brittle and dry." (Dao De Jing / 道德經, chap. 76, tr. Waley) [wikipedia entry].
