This could be a huge project (depens on whether you wanna dig or not...). any way, i have worked out the 4 pics on the second post for your reference. am going on a biz trip today. And will work the first post out later.

---------------------------

Second post (4 in total)

  1. 出土已有节,凌云处无心。(Paraphrased from a famous poem) Buried in the earth it already has a culm, reaching into the sky it is still open-minded. (see notes below)
  2. 益寿:Yi4/shou4,(should be read from right to left on your pic…), means beneficial to longevity;
  3. 延年:yan2/nian2,(also should be read from right to left like above…), means beneficial to longevity; synonym of益寿and are most commonly used together as 益寿延年
  4. 吉祥:ji2xiang2,(also should be read from right to left…), means auspiciousness

Notes: this is a paraphrased sentence from a poem Ode to Bamboo (咏竹) see the whole poem below (the red one is the original sentence before paraphrasing):

咏竹 Ode to Bamboo

The red sentence can be roughly (not exactly. could be a tough job translating ancient China poem... )translated as: Buried in the earth it already has a culm, reaching into the sky it is still open-minded. By writing that the poet wants to highlight the virtue of acting low and humble. Think about how bamboo sprouts out of the earth (acting low) and remain hollow (open-minded) whatever it grows into, and you may get the point.
