drungood Posted February 17, 2012 at 08:03 AM Report Posted February 17, 2012 at 08:03 AM I just bought a crappy Chinese cell phone and a China Mobile SIM card. The number on the SIM card is 20 digits, but one of the digits in the middle is a 'C' (or is it a worn off 0 - either way using the number doesn't seem to work) Anyway, I don't know what I'm supposed to dial from Skype to reach this number. Anyone know? Quote
yialanliu Posted February 17, 2012 at 09:03 AM Report Posted February 17, 2012 at 09:03 AM Skype works to call chinese cell phones since that's the main way my family and fiance calls me from America. With regards to your 20 digit number, I don't think that's your number. Best bet would be to ask a friend call their cell phone ans see what is displayed. Chinese cell phone numbers are typically 11 digits, 3 digits for area codes and 8 for the number. Quote

abcdefg Posted February 18, 2012 at 03:30 AM Report Posted February 18, 2012 at 03:30 AM Yep, that works for me as well. Good for calling via Skype to a Chinese mobile. Country code + Area code + 11 digit mobile number. Quote
JonBI Posted February 23, 2012 at 03:44 PM Report Posted February 23, 2012 at 03:44 PM Some cellphone cards in China cannot receive or send international calls. Check with China mobile or whomever else is your provider. They have kiosks everywhere. Quote
