New Members iistrisha Posted February 20, 2012 at 12:28 AM New Members Report Posted February 20, 2012 at 12:28 AM After a night of drinking with some friends, one of them wrote this on my back. I don't understand Mandarin so I was wondering if any of you can help translate what is written on my back, please? Quote
Gymnosopher Posted February 20, 2012 at 12:31 PM Report Posted February 20, 2012 at 12:31 PM 1. 你很漂亮 - you're very pretty -- not sure about 爱何洋得 - you look like the what love sea? Someone else should know that better... Though it could just be a mistake. 2. 非常可爱 would be the same, 'really cute' - but she's given you 啡常, which doesn't mean much but is literally ordinary coffee 3. half of thanks, 谢谢 Quote
jbradfor Posted February 20, 2012 at 03:18 PM Report Posted February 20, 2012 at 03:18 PM I assumed that was 爱洋何得 -- 爱洋 meaning "love foreigners"? Obviously, the person who wrote this likes you. And since you basically took off your shirt for him, who's to blame him? Quote
jkhsu Posted February 20, 2012 at 04:25 PM Report Posted February 20, 2012 at 04:25 PM The weird thing is that the writing looks like it's from someone learning Chinese. Why would they write this on your back if you can't read it? Were they trying to show off their Chinese? Quote
jbradfor Posted February 20, 2012 at 04:53 PM Report Posted February 20, 2012 at 04:53 PM "Hey baby, take off your shirt and I'll write something in Chinese on your back." Seemed to work. Personally, I used to offer a massage, but, hey, whatever works. Quote
