skylee Posted March 9, 2012 at 04:39 AM Report Posted March 9, 2012 at 04:39 AM Cheng is a professor at HKU, and he writes a weekly column on the HK Economic Times (信報). I first noticed his column when he wrote about the eight stages of internationlisation of the higher education sector. And now I tend to read his column every week in our media summaries. He often writes about education in different places including HK, Shanghai, Singapore, Macau, Taiwan, the USA, Australia, Japan, etc and I find his column quite interesting, informative and easy to read. In recent weeks he has written about donations to universities and I like the three articles (so far). The HK Economic Times does not provide free access for non-paying readers. But many of his articles can be found on HKU's website (look for 信報). If you want something to read, you can give them a try. There are a number of articles on Shanghai. Here is the first one on donations -> 大學與富人 I find these interesting too -> 留級這回事 默書與背書 昂山素姬的驚喜 Quote
