New Members Sheva Das Posted March 14, 2012 at 02:46 PM New Members Report Share Posted March 14, 2012 at 02:46 PM I have a very uncommon name and have never been able to find it translated into Chinese in any of the automatic translators. My full name is Batsheva (Bathsheba), which translates as either "daughter of seven" or "daughter of the oath" (I prefer the latter). I was wondering if anyone could help me find a somewhat similar translation? (Transliteration/what it sounds like doesn't matter to me.) Thanks so much! yialanliu Posted March 14, 2012 at 03:03 PM Report Share Posted March 14, 2012 at 03:03 PM If you are named after the historical/biblical Bathsheba, her name is 拔示巴 in Chinese.

jbradfor Posted March 14, 2012 at 07:00 PM Report Share Posted March 14, 2012 at 07:00 PM That's the standard transliteration. There is likely no official "translation".
