Is this even close? 他不会被胜利冲昏头脑。 Thanks for any thoughts, ideas, corrections, chocolate chip cookie recipes, etc. Dean

Kenny同志 Posted March 16, 2012 at 01:39 PM Report Share Posted March 16, 2012 at 01:39 PM In certain contexts, you also can say 他不会得意忘形。
yialanliu Posted March 18, 2012 at 11:59 AM Report Share Posted March 18, 2012 at 11:59 AM I like Kenny's version a lot more. It's better to translate idioms with like idioms rather than a hard translation of an idiom. For instance, I like to say hitting my head on tofu until I die. Good luck understanding it in english that way whereas in Chinese, it makes sense.
