Shelley Posted March 19, 2012 at 09:36 PM Report Share Posted March 19, 2012 at 09:36 PM Some more details would be nice, ie: how long have you been studying, what would you like from this forum concerning this post? Do you want it marked out of 10? Or just some praise so you can go and do some more feeling good:) I don't want to sound mean, but it seems a bit odd, just posting that.
chanming Posted March 19, 2012 at 10:01 PM Author Report Share Posted March 19, 2012 at 10:01 PM I was just testing. It is my first post. I am sorry. From now on I will be asking questions with much needed answers. Or I will print my translations if I need corrections.
Shelley Posted March 19, 2012 at 10:38 PM Report Share Posted March 19, 2012 at 10:38 PM No need to apologise, i was just curious. It makes sense now. You don't have to only ask questions or such. Just give enough info to avoid confusion:) Good luck and well done:)
jkhsu Posted March 19, 2012 at 10:53 PM Report Share Posted March 19, 2012 at 10:53 PM If you are looking for the exact translation of "I have a notebook, a pen and an eraser," then you are missing the measure words. It should be: 我有一本笔记本,一支笔 ,和一块橡皮。
大肚男 Posted March 20, 2012 at 03:00 AM Report Share Posted March 20, 2012 at 03:00 AM by the way you might also be interested in a website like lang-8.com there, you could post sentences and natives would correct it
shinewind Posted March 20, 2012 at 03:00 AM Report Share Posted March 20, 2012 at 03:00 AM Agree with #5. Specify the quantities. BTW, it seems that whatever language you are leaning there will always be a lesson on "classroom findings". I vivdly recall when I was having this lesson we were asked to do Q & A in pairs. "What do you have" "I have..." "Do you/Does he have...?" "Yes/No...."
