Pengyou Posted March 20, 2012 at 10:25 AM Report Posted March 20, 2012 at 10:25 AM There is a 2 hour video on youtube about how to play the erhu. I plan on studying erhu for a while and was thinking about asking a student to transcribe and translate this for me so that I would have a vocabulary base in erhu and beginning music theory and help me better understand my erhu teacher. It would be much easier to do this if I could find a service that would transcribe it. Any suggestions? and how much would I pay to have it transcribed? If I delete the music, it is probably 1 hour and 40 minutes long spoken at a moderate pace - probably consider it a little bit on the slow side for most Chinese people. Do these services charge by the unit of time or by the number of words? and how much should I pay for a (student) translater? Quote
skylee Posted March 20, 2012 at 10:45 AM Report Posted March 20, 2012 at 10:45 AM Do you want it transcribed or translated? Anyway, ask kennywoo2006. Quote
Pengyou Posted March 24, 2012 at 02:54 AM Author Report Posted March 24, 2012 at 02:54 AM Good question. My first thought was to get it transcribed and then use it with a tutor to help me learn the language. I am hoping that I won't need to have it translated. Quote
