Kent Posted January 22, 2005 at 10:56 PM Report Posted January 22, 2005 at 10:56 PM Hi There, I'm hoping that someone can give me some advice on getting an apartment in Beijing. Basically I want to know if it is possible to find a place to rent for only three months. I plan to go and live in the downtown hostel for a week before I start classes at BCLU. My plan is to find a room in a shared apartment in the week while I am at the hostel. Do you think that this will be possible? Also, will it be difficult to find a room that both my girlfriend and I can stay in? Thanks, Kent Quote
trevelyan Posted January 27, 2005 at 12:40 PM Report Posted January 27, 2005 at 12:40 PM There is a bulletin board at Beida that advertises rooms, shared places, etc.. If you want a bed in an apartment with other Chinese students, the cost will probably be around 500 RMB/month. More or less depending on the size of the place. You'll pay a bit more for a room with privacy, but I don't think you'll have a problem finding it. Quote
leeenie Posted March 10, 2005 at 06:47 PM Report Posted March 10, 2005 at 06:47 PM Hello, I am planning to spend 6-7 weeks in China doing an internship and need to find short term housing. Does anyone know where this bulletin board is, or how to get information on university dorms? All I've found on university dorms is part of language programs. Thanks in advance! Quote
