New Members JerseyJim Posted April 5, 2012 at 05:58 PM New Members Report Posted April 5, 2012 at 05:58 PM I found this rubber stamp at a flea market and was wondering what it said. It appears to be a modern stationery type. I believe the "A" image is the right side up but I am not certain. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jim Quote
johnk Posted April 5, 2012 at 07:39 PM Report Posted April 5, 2012 at 07:39 PM HI, I am probably not the best person to answer, but since I actually looked this up. It is traditional script. Image A is the right way up. The simplified version is: 限时掛号 And you can look it up yourself on mdbg. The trouble is, after all that, I am not too sure what it means. google gives approximately 5 million hits for this phrase. My guess would be something like "time restricted registration" but I could be wrong. 1 Quote
jkhsu Posted April 5, 2012 at 08:02 PM Report Posted April 5, 2012 at 08:02 PM Try these links: http://yc8899.shop.rakuten.tw/200000000804914/ http://www.pcstore.com.tw/cntn_2/M10529229.htm I'm guessing that it's probably a stamp used in Taiwan for specifying that a letter/parcel is "registered express". 1 Quote
