minismurf Posted January 23, 2005 at 04:11 PM Report Posted January 23, 2005 at 04:11 PM I am looking for good material that a beginner can use to learn Chinese. Personally, I found texts like Chengyu origins/stories and Chinese fables quite entertaining to read. Is there anywhere I can download archives with text files with this kind of materials? Are there any good web sites for it (if I drop the text file requirement)? In general, and I think this may have been answered elsewhere, is there any good Chinese sites with compilations of literature in electronic form, much like Project Gutenberg? Quote
