This probably sounds stupid, but I really don't know anything about Chinese, but it isn't particularly important that I do, because all I want to do is place the text in a machine translator so that I can get a very basic idea of what the text means. It's a small side project that's part of something larger, so I don't necessarily need a super-accurate translation. The problem that I'm having is that I can't find where the text is stored inside of the game data, so the best I could do is take screenshots of the text as it appears on-screen. This doesn't help much since I can't take the text from this and copy/paste it anywhere. I tried using some software to recognize text from images, but the results it produces are too inconsistent - I think it may be because the characters are too small. I wanted to ask if anyone would be willing to look at my screenshots and type out the characters for me, but I understand if no one does. While trying to translate, I realize that machine translation can't really help me a whole lot. So I was hoping someone could give me an indication if I'm doing it right. I think that the names are Western themed rather than Eastern, but I don't really know how to be sure. My results are mostly a combination of Google translations and looking at how the characters are pronouced. So here's the list of names: People: 瑞亚 - Rhea (or maybe Ruiya?) 国王 - King (I think it's his title rather than his name) 普东叔叔 - Uncle Pudong (I couldn't determine any kind of Western sounding name out of this) 美杜丽莎 - Beautiful Teresa 皮尔持 - Pierce (maybe Pierre or something?) 郝克托叔叔 - Uncle Hector Places: 瓦萨城堡 - Vasa Castle 柯灵圣岛 - Keling Holy Island 希赛湖 - Xisai Lake Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
