LaoJie Posted April 17, 2012 at 07:05 AM Report Posted April 17, 2012 at 07:05 AM Ello ello, I'm working as a teaching intern at the moment. I'm on a tourist visa, cause I'm working with some company and getting paid crap money. . . anyway I've applied for a few jobs, and one place told me that I could go to Hong Kong to change it into a Z. But now he tells me that it's not going to be possible and that I'll have to go back home. I was wondering if anyone here knows anymore information on this ? Thanks very much, I hope that I can go to Hong Kong, as I don't have to the money to go back home Take care. Quote
chinadude2006 Posted April 17, 2012 at 11:41 AM Report Posted April 17, 2012 at 11:41 AM Which province is the school in? Going back to your home country or going to Hong Kong to get the Z visa really depends on the city or province and if the school is a public or private school. I know Guangdong province is quite strict about this and requires teachers to apply in their home country. Other provinces are more lenient. Quote
