Friedrich Posted April 18, 2012 at 07:04 AM Report Posted April 18, 2012 at 07:04 AM a friend of mine (Turkish citizen) arrived in Beijing on a Tourist (L) visa, which he extended twice by now. It doesnt seem to be possible to get an F-Visa for Turkish citizens (at least not with the agencies he asked - open for all recommendations) and as the only option left, he is thinking about doing a trip to Seoul, apply for a new tourist visa there and extend it again twice in Beijing. I heard a lot of "I think that might work or not work", but nobody I spoke to seems to have any real experience with this, so if anyone here knows all help would be appreciated. The specific questions: 1) Is there a restriction on the usual practice of being able to extend a tourist twice by 30 days in Beijing, if you had already extended another tourist visa beforehand twice? 2) Can any nationality apply for a tourist visa with the Chinese embassy in Seoul/HK? He is Turkish. All help VERY much appreciated. Quote
