New Members cjo Posted April 20, 2012 at 09:25 AM New Members Report Share Posted April 20, 2012 at 09:25 AM This is a photo caption from an unpleasant image of people killed by war or natural disaster (probably the Chinese-Japanese conflicts in the 1930's). Don't worry - only posted the caption not the whole photograph! Interested to know if the caption has any information about the location. Thank you. New Members cjo Posted April 20, 2012 at 10:36 AM Author New Members Report Share Posted April 20, 2012 at 10:36 AM Thank you very much. I was obviously wrong about the potential date and location. Sad reading about tragedies on the Sumida River.

Caster Posted April 20, 2012 at 04:28 PM Report Share Posted April 20, 2012 at 04:28 PM actually it's kind of Japanese. not common Chinese. I mean it may be a named corpse, but it also can mean a location with water surrounding.
