Invisible on QQ random search.

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody,

Thanks in advance for reading my topic.

I'm french, and I use QQ since 6 months now.

It's a very good way for me to learn chinese and meet people to organise mu futur travel in China.

I have two accounts. Using QQInternational.

Since a week, when I try a random search like "Man" "23-30" "France": I can't see me. Both accounts are not on the list.

My actual friends, when I ask them to try too, can't find me too.

And, yes, since a week: no new requests.

I sent a mail to the QQ Help, but no answer.

Can someone explain to me what happened, please?

Thank you all to read me.

Alex.

A QQ friend of mine had this problem, and this is how we fixed it.

In "My Profile", "ID: (Change the display ID)", it should be your QQ number followed by your email address in <>, with no space between them. Like this: 1111111111<abcd@xyz.com>.

I don't know if there is another acceptable format for this, and I don't know why some people's entry here is different.

Good evening, and thanks for your reply.

Unfortuneatlly, it's not the answer for me... I tried, and nothing different...

I created a new account, to try: same!!! Looks like it's link with my IP, maybe.

Strange.

If someone got the answer, thank you!

It's boring to have QQ and can't chat with new contacts :)

Yes, Querido. It's uncheck.

Thank you for your time.

I have news:

I contacted QQHelp.

They answered me: To find new contacts go etc........

I told them that it's not my question.

They answer again by: Because your ID is blocked, you can open your account again in 24 hours.

But, I'm not blocked! I can still connect to my account, and my problem is the same with any account I can open from now.

They really don't get my prob, hehe.

Don't you think it's link with my internet or computer IP?

"Don't you think it's link with my internet or computer IP? "

I don't know but I doubt it. It is probably just some configuration setting.

I *also* didn't understand your question at first. Maybe a helpful Chinese-speaking person will ask them for you.

Good luck!

I am having the same issue, no longer visible since april 15. I tried changing the things that were suggested here, but no result. I have "by nickname only" unchecked, and "by webcamusers" checked. When i find a solution, i will post it here.

Update:

I forced a change on my IP address (my provider's IP addresses are dependent on router/ethernetcard MAC number) , cleared all off my cookies and registered a new QQ number. The new number was instantly visible, while the old numbers are still not listed at all.
