New Members dreaminginchinese Posted April 25, 2012 at 07:51 PM New Members Report Posted April 25, 2012 at 07:51 PM I'm looking for a list of online resources for learners of traditional characters. Perhaps a compilation has already been posted? For example, this website is pretty nice: http://www.slow-chinese.com/ . It provides an audio recording of each article. The only problem for me is...The text is simplified, which doesn't help much at this point in my studies. Does something like this exist with traditional characters? And, I would love to hear about any other resources (preferably free) that can aid me with traditional characters. Thanks, friends! Quote

外国赤佬 Posted April 30, 2012 at 04:14 AM Report Posted April 30, 2012 at 04:14 AM If you want to learn traditional, make sure you use Taiwanese resources. Because even if a character doesn't have a traditional variant, chances are it's still written slightly differently in the Taiwanese standard. Case in point, 花. Or 雨. Or 肝. Or whatever. You can check here how to write a character in the Taiwanese standard. And be sure to use Taiwanese fonts for your learning resources, such as MIngLiU or 標楷體. Quote
