skylee Posted January 26, 2005 at 11:37 PM Report Posted January 26, 2005 at 11:37 PM What a shame. Quite unnecessary IMHO. Quote
confucius Posted January 27, 2005 at 12:53 AM Report Posted January 27, 2005 at 12:53 AM Nice move, Beijing. Speaking of moves, is it time to move the 2008 Olympics countdown clock to Tiananmen Square yet? Wang Zhi Zhi has a nice pool in Miami. Maybe Tian Liang can go diving there! Quote
Ian_Lee Posted January 27, 2005 at 01:12 AM Report Posted January 27, 2005 at 01:12 AM If you were Tian, can you decline the offer of a HK$30 million contract? Quote
skylee Posted January 27, 2005 at 11:34 PM Report Posted January 27, 2005 at 11:34 PM 田 亮 遭 央 視 王 牌 節 目 除 名 Some people suggest that he could join other teams, such as the HK team ... not a bad idea ... Quote
Ian_Lee Posted January 28, 2005 at 08:09 PM Report Posted January 28, 2005 at 08:09 PM Skylee: Tian Liang will be 29 in '08 Beijing Olympics. Do you think he can still get a medal? (He only got a bronze medal in Athen.) Even his parents in Shaanxi told the media that they wish their son as another Nicholas Tse. Given his babyish camera face and popularity in China/HK, Tian can be hot in movie/TV/singing for the next 20 years. If he can't get a medal in '08 or even he gets one, the only career he has is a coaching job in one of the swimming schools in Mainland cities assigned by the "party". If you were Tain, which path will you choose? Well, lately I saw Tian has polished up his Cantonese in TVB charity show Quote
TSkillet Posted January 31, 2005 at 01:38 AM Report Posted January 31, 2005 at 01:38 AM is it time to move the 2008 Olympics countdown clock to Tiananmen Square yet? It was already there when I was in there in October. Quote
skylee Posted January 31, 2005 at 05:00 AM Report Posted January 31, 2005 at 05:00 AM Tian Liang will be 29 in '08 Beijing Olympics. Do you think he can still get a medal? (He only got a bronze medal in Athen.) Didn't Greg Louganis get his last gold at the Olympics when he was 28 (poor Xiong Ni)... And I think Tian Liang earned a gold at Athens on top of the bronze ...
