Short Term Accomodation in Beijing

Hi There,

I'm hoping that someone can give me some advice on getting an apartment in Beijing. Basically I want to know if it is possible to find a place to rent for only three months. I plan to go and live in the downtown hostel for a week before I start classes at BLCU. My plan is to find a room in a shared apartment in the week while I am at the hostel. Do you think that this will be possible? Also, will it be difficult to find a room that both my girlfriend and I can stay in?
