Pengyou Posted May 7, 2012 at 07:20 AM Report Posted May 7, 2012 at 07:20 AM I am in Taiwan now, teaching in a primary school. In Shanghai, I could always count on students knowing hanyu pinyin, so when I taught them a word that had a strange sound I could often use pinyin to help them with pronunciation. Now, in Taiwan, they do not use the Handyu pinyin but something called bo po mo fo...can someone direct me to a page that will explain this? I am looking for a fairly streamlined page. It seems to be linked to how they type also Quote
