MinorFatality Posted May 9, 2012 at 10:57 PM Report Share Posted May 9, 2012 at 10:57 PM Neither I nor my group could make out the real lines they used in the movie (xizao) well enough and I won't have an opportunity to check the grammar with my teacher before I've got to perform the skit. Just a basic translation would be much appreciated. 1 - Don't be a sore loser! 2 - I've been training him. [referring to an animal] 3 - Oh, you're the only one who can win? If you can't take losing, don't play! 4 - Who cares! We'll just take a bath to seal our victory. [maybe "to celebrate our victory?" I know it's a bit odd] tyvm in advance. MinorFatality Posted May 10, 2012 at 04:06 AM Author Report Share Posted May 10, 2012 at 04:06 AM Well I did get around to working on this some, trying to listen to the movie dialogue more. I can't make out the second sentence of the last line well enough. As best as I can hear, he says "Za bu shi wo dou sheng zao." I can only assume as much as "za bu shi 我都 sheng 澡。“ What does anyone think the 'za bu shi' would be? And can I assume the 'sheng' is 生?Or is there another sheng that would go there?
