Need to rent/borrow a BIKE near Peking University/Beida (and bass trombone?)

My son, a college student, would like to borrow or rent a bicycle from about June 17 until August 11. He'll be studying at Beida on a summer program.

Also -- this may be a long shot -- He'd like to occasionally borrow a bass trombone to keep in practice. He'll bring his own mouthpiece (large shank). He could travel to the bass trombone owner's location and use it there, especially if it's near Beida.

He might as well just buy an old clunker - say that costs 200 yuan, it's pennies per day over the two month stay, even if he just abandons it when he leaves.

The bass trombone may be a trickier one.

Look there for info about renting a bike near BLCU. Maybe there's something even closer, but BLCU is not very far from Beida (according to a quick google maps lookup).
