New Members kumari Posted May 29, 2012 at 05:12 PM New Members Report Posted May 29, 2012 at 05:12 PM Does anyone know anything or know where to get more information on life in the more rural areas of China? Specifically, I was wondering if millet (broomcorn), in the form of boiled whole seeds, could've been fed to an infant or toddler. Does anyone know any good books that cover this? Quote

Wouldn't that just be 小米粥?I often see Chinese moms (or grandmoms) spooning it into the mouths of their young children, even in the city. Quote

liuzhou Posted June 1, 2012 at 03:08 AM Report Posted June 1, 2012 at 03:08 AM I suggest you Google "millet congee". There is a ton of information there, including recipes and pictures. Quote
