New Members sinbycos Posted May 30, 2012 at 08:54 AM New Members Report Posted May 30, 2012 at 08:54 AM Hi, I want to compliment my neighbour and am looking for the appropriate Chinese translation for the phrase. The English phrase is "You have the prettiest eyes." My neighbour speaks mainly Mandarin but has a good understanding of Cantonese as well, so I guess the correct pronounciation in either will do. I tried looking up the translation online, but the websites just tell me how it should be written, while i'm looking for how it should be spoken. Thanks a lot for your help!! Quote
malanting Posted May 30, 2012 at 01:43 PM Report Posted May 30, 2012 at 01:43 PM 你的眼睛真好看。 你是我见过的眼睛最美的人。 (A literal translation would be 你有最美丽的眼睛, but the above translations sound better) You can look the sentences up for the pronunciation. Quote
