etm001 Posted June 5, 2012 at 10:10 PM Report Posted June 5, 2012 at 10:10 PM Hi, I had thought I posted on this topic last week, but for some reason I can't find the thread (which would explain why there were no replies). For those of you that have attended MTC at NTNU: do you need a computer to complete your class and/or homework? I'm think about brining just my iPad, with a Bluetooth keyboard. The things I don't think I can easily do with the iPad are: View Flash content. Listen to a CD (i.e., if a textbook had an accompanying audio CD). Print to a printer (unless it has AirPrint). Otherwise I think an iPad w/ keyboard can do most of what I need. Any thoughts? Quote
Daan Posted June 6, 2012 at 07:11 AM Report Posted June 6, 2012 at 07:11 AM It may depend on your course, but I've never had to view any Flash content. I've had to listen to an audio CD every now and then, but you can just use the MTC's audio lab to do that. And similarly, there are computers with printers you can use if you should ever need to print anything (just e-mail them to yourself or whatever and log in on one of those computers). Shouldn't be a problem Quote
OneEye Posted June 6, 2012 at 02:26 PM Report Posted June 6, 2012 at 02:26 PM The original question was moved to this thread. I use a USB drive when I need to print stuff out at school, but email works too of course. Daan, are you in Taipei already? Quote
