gegehuhu Posted June 22, 2012 at 05:18 AM Report Posted June 22, 2012 at 05:18 AM Riding in a bus in Yunnan province the other day, I realized that the movie being shown was a Chinese ripoff of Tarantino's Pulp Fiction, scene for scene (but obviously a little toned down for Chinese audiences). Anyone know what this movie is called? Quote

xiaoxiaocao Posted June 22, 2012 at 06:16 AM Report Posted June 22, 2012 at 06:16 AM I saw this movie too! It was like a slapstick version of Pulp Fiction copied scene for scene. Quote
abcdefg Posted June 22, 2012 at 11:00 AM Report Posted June 22, 2012 at 11:00 AM Watched it today. Lots of dialect. Maybe it's been too long since I saw "Pulp Fiction" but I would not have guessed this was a knockoff, even though there were some similarities. It was a "caper film" played for laughs. Thought I saw references to "Mission Impossible" (thief's costume being black tights.) In any case, it was fun. Quote
alreadytaken Posted June 14, 2013 at 07:14 AM Report Posted June 14, 2013 at 07:14 AM This movie is not good, the director has very poor taste of humor, the sequel 疯狂的赛车 is much better. Quote
