skylee Posted February 3, 2005 at 10:17 AM Report Posted February 3, 2005 at 10:17 AM I would say "幼" = age 0 to 10 and "少" = age 11 to 18 ~ 20. But the age ranges are vague. Nowadays, 青年 can mean people between the age of 21 (adulthood) and 40 (take a look at the eligibility criteria of 十大傑出青年選舉). Well as long as you look young, you could claim to be a 青年. And when you start to look not so young, then you are a 壯年 (i.e. still younger than 中年 and 老年 ). Quote
