Ok, 幼,少, and 青 all mean 'young' in some way right? What's the difference? Is it a degree of youth?

“幼”最小,一般不超过7岁;

“少”在中间,大约在7岁到14岁;

“青”通常指14岁以上30岁以下。

实际的界限很模糊并且有多重标准,很难统一。

I would say "幼" = age 0 to 10 and "少" = age 11 to 18 ~ 20. But the age ranges are vague. Nowadays, 青年 can mean people between the age of 21 (adulthood) and 40 :D (take a look at the eligibility criteria of 十大傑出青年選舉). Well as long as you look young, you could claim to be a 青年. And when you start to look not so young, then you are a 壯年 (i.e. still younger than 中年 and 老年 :mrgreen: ).
