Hello all,

I was wondering what the best way to translate 'now that...' would be in sentence like 'now that we live in a modern age, you wouldn't expect blablabla'. I was thinking 既是 but I'm not quite sure.

Thanks!

Consider 既然.

But depending on the context there are different ways to translate it.

Thanks. Out of curiosity, is 既然 more or less synonymous to 既是 or is there a (subtle) difference?

Strangely I don't even know 既是 but I'd guess that 既然 is probably the most common word for "since".
