Can CSC scholar study in universities outside China which have collaboration with Chinese universities?

Hi,

There are many universities in China that have collaboration and Memorandum of understandings with universities of other countries like Australia, Japan, UK, Austria, France, US etc. This allows students exchange, faculty/student training, split degree program etc. I want to know that students selected under CSC award (especially PhD candidates) are eligible to study/train in those universities which have MOUs and collaboration with that Chinese university for which he/she is selected. Is there any case in past, where CSC scholar was sent outside China to these universities..
