wenjing*girl Posted February 5, 2005 at 09:54 AM Report Posted February 5, 2005 at 09:54 AM I think this falls under the heading of "it's not Chinese, but still interesting" My cat has an electric charge! He got it from the static electriciy that was on a blanket I have. Does anyone have any ideas about how to get it out of his fur? If I was in the states, I'd try rubbing him with a dryer sheet but alas, there are none available to me here. Any ideas would be appreciated. Quote

GuernseyMatt Posted February 7, 2005 at 06:56 PM Report Posted February 7, 2005 at 06:56 PM Leash him/her with copper wire to an "earthing rod". The earthing rod should be metallic and approximately one meter long, hammered into sufficiently moist ground. All electrical charges will be diverted to earth and your cat should then be safe to play with. Meow Quote
