Understudy Posted August 1, 2012 at 03:32 AM Report Posted August 1, 2012 at 03:32 AM I have a question in regard to applying for an F (business) Visa in the United States. I am an American Citizen, and will apply for this visa while at home. I know that I am required to have an invitation letter from China, as well as a letter from my employer stating the need for me to go. My question: If my employer is based in Canada, and will supply a letter of intent with their Canadian Address, does anyone see any issue with me applying at the consulate in New York? (We are not a registered business in the United States, and I am not a resident in Canada). The Invitation from China is no problem, but I am a bit concered about the letter from the employer. Quote
