For poetic purposes, does 冰淚 can refer to "frozen tears" or is it exclusively a term used to describe icicles? If it is the latter, what is the appropriate term to say "freezes tears"?

"Freeze" I'd more readily say 凝. Hell, they just happen to rhyme. Use freely.
