CCTV Live with Mac OS X and other Chinese online TV news in English

Residing in Beijing and using Mac OS X Lion, would like to watch Chinese TV news in English.

I downloaded flip4mac and I can watch the CCTV Live broadcast but the sound gets cut off after a few seconds. The HD version is not working at all.. looks like it requires IE or Firefox, but doesn't work on my Firefox either.

Anyone got this working on their macs, experiences? How about other English TV news in China, do they exist?
