skylee Posted August 12, 2012 at 12:03 PM Report Share Posted August 12, 2012 at 12:03 PM Can't help you with the translation, but this is the poem - 疏峰高館逼雲開 雙屐依稀印古苔 欲向山靈搔首問 謝宣城後許誰來 Dated 庚寅夏四月 (the 4th month, summer in the Gengyin year) Many members here on the forums are good at translation (some do / teach it as a profession). Maybe they can help you with the translation. PS - very roughly it first describes the scenary with a building at a peak close to the clouds and a trail of unclear footprints on the ancient moss. Then the writer says that he wishes to ask the spirit of the mountains who will be sent to the world now that 謝朓 (aka 謝宣城 Xie Xuancheng) the 5th-Century poet is no longer here. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
