Permanent Residence Visa for Canada

Does anyone have any experince in actual processing times for a family class (spouse), permanent residence visa for Canada, through the Hong Kong Office?

The web site says 18 months for this type of Visa.

Has anyone actually done it recently that could offer some real time statistics?

The medical examination is only good for 12 months. At this rate it is guaranteed the applicant will have to be re-examinted.
