I'll tell you why: The artist is referencing the Tao De Ching. I have a copy sitting right in front of me. The reference is to chapter 8. Bascially, Laozi is advocating that people be like water. Do not fight against nature; flow naturally to where you should go. Act according to natural order. You could play on that. Or just say "Be like water" (I think Bruce Lee said that), if you are selling it to people who don't understand Chinese.
