Hi guys

Few days ago I've found this forum it is very good source of information.

This year I went to Taiwan for three months as a volunteer it was organized by AIESEC and well... It was the best time of my life.

I'm going to graduate from university in June 2013 and I've been thinking about applying for scholarship program in China or in Taiwan.

Problem is that I will obtain my degree few months after deadline(April) for applications.

Is it possible to apply if If I will get official note from my uni that I'm going to graduate on time ??

I dont want to wait whole year with this application.

I will be grateful for information

For Taiwan's scholarships, it depends on which one you're talking about. If it's just for language study, then I believe there's no requirement for you to have already graduated. If it's for an MA or something else, you should probably get in touch with your local TECRO about it.

This is about the scholarship program of Taiwan (SPOT):

This is usually not a problem. It says explicitly that you can apply the same year you graduate, but if you get the scholarship, you will have to prove that you actually have graduated before you get it officially. I received preliminary decisions both for the scholarship and applications for post-graduate courses and only received the formal acceptance letters ones I had received my diploma, which was five months after the deadline. Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean that everything will be fine, I'm just saying that theoretically, there should be no problem and I have just done what you describe. Good luck!
