Is there any difference between 觉得 and 觉着? My understanding is the latter is a lesson common (possibly non-standard?) colloquial variant that Northerners tend to use from time to time. What is everyone's thoughts?

The host of this show says it a lot

That seems quite a good show. Just watched a couple of episodes, and she does indeed say it a lot.

I'm Taiwanese, and I've never heard "觉着" before. It probably is only used in Mainland as colloquial.
