Mikeb Posted February 15, 2005 at 12:14 PM Report Posted February 15, 2005 at 12:14 PM Good morning every body. This is my first posting on the site. I would like to add a signature to my pen and ink drawings that says: “An offering from the studio of Mike Butler” I have made a first attempt at phonetically translating “Mike Butler” as “迈克 巴特尔” which I hope is close to being correct but I am totally lost with the remainder. I am also in the process of designing a chop that I would then add to the text. That task as I am finding out extremely quickly is one where the more I research the more I realise how much a novice to the study of the Chinese language I am. If some one has the time to help me with the above I would be very grateful. Mike B Quote
skylee Posted February 15, 2005 at 03:10 PM Report Posted February 15, 2005 at 03:10 PM Perhaps you could consider - 白邁克畫樓製作 or 白邁克畫樓作品 白邁克 ~ Mike Butler (Rhett Butler in "Gone with the Wind" has been translated to 白瑞德) 畫樓 = studio (alternatives are 畫室 (studio) or 工作室 (workshop)) 製作 = produced by 作品 = works of Quote
