New Members yakatsu Posted December 14, 2012 at 08:08 PM New Members Report Share Posted December 14, 2012 at 08:08 PM Hi everyone and mods ^ ^ I am a fellow student studying Civil Engineering at a University in London. I chose this project titled 'China's emerging policies on Sustainability' purely based on my enthusiasm and passion for sustainability and in addition to that the desire to learn about the Chinese culture and social beliefs. I really thought these two elements would combine well for my thesis report. So, my question is : Are there any good sources or any sorts of websites/links where I could find some useful information about the above topic? I am not originally from China, hence, I have less to offer and I thought this forum would be a great platform or source for the information that I am in need of. Thanks for reading! felipe Posted December 15, 2012 at 12:32 AM Report Share Posted December 15, 2012 at 12:32 AM Hello yakatsu, This report may serve as a good intro: http://www.china-greentech.com/report Beyond that, you can find reports on specific areas, such as water or urban development. Just google "china sustainability policy" plus the keywords for the specific areas. You may be also interested in researching the social impact of policies that affect the environment. Google "ningbo protests" and "dalian oil spills" for two recent incidents. I hope this helps. -- Felipe
