kdavid Posted December 15, 2012 at 01:27 PM Report Posted December 15, 2012 at 01:27 PM Can anyone recommend a company which can have passport pages added to my passport on my behalf? Thanks! Quote
liuzhou Posted December 15, 2012 at 01:32 PM Report Posted December 15, 2012 at 01:32 PM Er, which nation's passport do you hold? Not all passports can add pages. Quote
kdavid Posted December 15, 2012 at 01:36 PM Author Report Posted December 15, 2012 at 01:36 PM American passport. And before Roddy chimes in, I've Googled a few companies already. I'm posting here specifically because I want to see if anyone has personal experience with a company which they'd recommend. Clearly, I don't want to send sensitive material off to just anyone I find online. I'd feel better if I had a recommendation. Quote
Daan Posted December 15, 2012 at 07:38 PM Report Posted December 15, 2012 at 07:38 PM I was going to say - that sounds dodgy. I don't think there's a single European country that will let you add pages to your passport. Isn't it something that only your embassy would be able to do for you? Can you really just let a private foreign company do that for an American passport? That's amazing in itself. I know this isn't very helpful, just saying Quote
kdavid Posted December 15, 2012 at 11:17 PM Author Report Posted December 15, 2012 at 11:17 PM We can have pages added. A lot of Americans choose to use courier services as they live far from embassies. I used one in the past for a visa, but that was years ago. Quote
abcdefg Posted December 16, 2012 at 03:01 AM Report Posted December 16, 2012 at 03:01 AM I've done this twice (US passport.) Each time in conjuction with obtaining a new China visa. The last time I had pages added, Fall of 2011, MyChinaVisa handled it without incident. I used this same company in November of this year for my most recent China visa. Good service if you don't need it on a rush basis. The non-rush service is handled in Houston. They send rush jobs to San Francisco. Here's a link. http://www.mychinavi...t_add_pages.php The time before, I used Passports Plus, but they have merged with another company called CIBT and I can no longer recommend them. CIBT really made a hash of things for several friends. Among other problems, you cannot directly contact the office handling your application; you must deal with a national "switchboard." 1 Quote
xiaoxiaocao Posted December 16, 2012 at 04:31 AM Report Posted December 16, 2012 at 04:31 AM (edited) I've mentioned them before on here http://www.visarite.com have consistently provided excellent services to our USA students and could probably help you out. Edit: They do indeed provide this service http://www.visarite.com/passport_add_page.htm Edited December 17, 2012 at 03:07 AM by xiaoxiaocao Quote
mvdberg112 Posted December 16, 2012 at 10:17 AM Report Posted December 16, 2012 at 10:17 AM Do you mean the Courier service adds the pages, or the courier will bring it for you to the Embassy and Embassy does it? If it is the Embassy, then I think any VISA agent will work. Let us know what finally works for you! Quote
