Saxondale Posted December 24, 2012 at 05:22 AM Report Posted December 24, 2012 at 05:22 AM So i've nearly finished my last semester in China but i'm going to do one more. Since i'll only be applying for one more semester, i'll be getting another F visa (i currently have one). Before the next semester (march), i want to travel a bit. My plan is to go to Korea and travel for a few weeks and then apply for my F visa there. Has anyone done this over there? If you have, please could you share your experience. I just want to be sure i can get an F-visa if i go to Korea. Quote
zhouhaochen Posted December 25, 2012 at 05:30 PM Report Posted December 25, 2012 at 05:30 PM we had a student who went to Seoul for a visa (L) last year, because he was not a full time student with us, so could not get a visa from LTL. It worked, but not through the Seoul embassy, but another one (I think Busan). It took a week and we had organized an agent for him back then, if you want the contacts feel free to pm me. Quote

roddy Posted December 28, 2012 at 12:06 PM Report Posted December 28, 2012 at 12:06 PM They've always been fairly strict in Korea, due to worries all the US English teachers there will move to China and teach illegally. I looked at doing a visa run there a couple of years back and came to the conclusion it would be easier to go to Hong Kong and have a holiday in Seoul at a later date. Quote
Saxondale Posted December 31, 2012 at 10:21 AM Author Report Posted December 31, 2012 at 10:21 AM It was my friend in Seoul that went into the embassy for me to ask this, so i guess it's a certain no. Quote
