acatt Posted December 26, 2012 at 11:30 PM Report Posted December 26, 2012 at 11:30 PM Hello All, I have a question that I have been researching for a while now, however the answer continues to prove itself elusive to say the very least. When do undergraduate programs begin in China? I am debating whether or not I should begin in the Fall or the Spring. After speaking with the admissions office at Peking University a couple weeks ago (not impressed with the staff), I was told that all first year students must begin undergraduate studies in the Fall. How true is this? Thanks guys. Best, Michael Quote

Cat Jones Posted December 27, 2012 at 03:18 AM Report Posted December 27, 2012 at 03:18 AM Yes I believe all courses start in August/September. There is only one start date for UG/Masters courses. Quote
AucklandLove Posted January 3, 2013 at 02:30 AM Report Posted January 3, 2013 at 02:30 AM I heard it is also possible to start semester programs in February. Is not that correct? Quote
zhouhaochen Posted January 6, 2013 at 02:41 AM Report Posted January 6, 2013 at 02:41 AM It depends on the university, but most universities in China take students twice a year (in September and after Chinese New Year) for most of their BSc and MSc programs taught in Chinese. Quote
