YuehanHao Posted January 1, 2013 at 05:51 PM Report Share Posted January 1, 2013 at 05:51 PM Looks like the characters (with presumed translation) may be 鼠 (rat/mouse) 姜 (ginger) 姚 (handsome) 豬 (pig) I'm not sure there is a consensus meaning for this phrase. There is some discussion online but I didn't see a definitive answer. This may be one of the tattoos intended to have a meaning known only to the bearer? For example, one website (http://zhidao.baidu.com/question/492119121.html) offered an interesting rationalization or two below: 有一种解释很勉强:“希望像鼠一样敏捷,像姜一样老辣,像姚明一样高大,像猪一样快乐地吃喝拉撒” 还有一种解释很方言:射箭要准 的方言谐音,至于这个词,你大可展开丰富的想象力了 The one thing I wondered about was the consistency of 豬 with 姜. But I guess both 姜 and 薑 both belong to the traditional character set.
